NICU
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at California Hospital Medical Center is a 26-bed, fully equipped unit. All 26 beds are licensed for intensive care. The NICU is rated as a Level III, Community unit and has surgical credentials. The staff is committed to the care of ill, premature and term infants born at the hospital from birth to discharge. The staff also cares for the emotional and educational needs of the parents and families of the newborns in the unit.
Visiting your infant in the NICU
Visiting hours are from 11 am - 9 pm. Immediate family members may visit beyond visiting hours as authorized by the Charge Nurse / Supervisor.
