Speaking Your Language
California Hospital Medical Center provides interpreter services for patients and their family members. The hospital maintains a list of staff members, all of whom have been carefully screened and trained, who make themselves available, free of charge, to provide interpreter services. If an in-house interpreter is not available, the hospital uses the AT&T; Language Line, which offers interpreter services in numerous languages.
CHMC offers most written materials in English and Spanish, and some materials in Korean as well.
